The celebration of festival Novruz took place at the building of the University UCL, Gower Street, London, UK. Novruz is a cultural event and is celebrated as the beginning of the astronomical New Year. Representatives of six countries took part in celebration of Novruz: Azeybardzhan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tatarstan (of Russian Federation) has been presented by committee members of UK Tatar Association. National dresses were pleasing the eye. There were a loud applause for the entertaining concert of songs and dance. Clever girls – are beautiful, guys – are real dzhigits. More than a thousand people attended and celebrated the festival. Тhe participants tasted the dishes of national cuisine of turk peoples. Excellent pilaf, dolma, shekerbura, chakchak, kush-tele, beshbarmak, belyashi brought pleasure to all participants. The unity of the people – a successful festival Novruz!
