On December 20, the representative Russian Cooperation in London held the fourth ceremony of awarding the best activists and organisations of the Russian diaspora in the UK, organised by the Coordination Council of the United Kingdom with the support of fellow Russian Cooperation and the Russian Embassy in the UK. Winners as a result of the year 2013, put forward by UK Tatar Association were called our dear: Lilia and Zinur Musin in the nomination “The development and establishment of relations with compatriots abroad, organisation of international projects.”
Lilia has been the director of the ensemble “Miras” and a class teacher of “Bayan” for 16 years. Zinur also plays in the ensemble of “Miras” for 16 years. In addition, he conducts the brass band, the teacher of the class for “pipe”. Living in Visaginas (Lithuania), they voluntarily took part in the Sabantuy of 2013 and other cultural events. Honourable guests of the ceremony handed the winners of the ceremony memorials and gifts. A few months ago, they moved to the UK.
