International art competition “Sөykemle Shүrәle” – “Charming Shuraleh” is conducted in the framework of events dedicated to the World Universiade – 2013 in Kazan, dedicated to 105th anniversary of writing fairy tale-poem “Shuraleh.”

The competition is held under an informational support of the National Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia.”
Goals and objectives
Popularisation of the creative heritage of outstanding Tatar poet Gabdulla Tuqay. Teach tolerance and patriotism among the younger generation. Identifying creative opportunities for children and adolescents in the preservation and development of folk traditions in the contemporary arts and crafts. Identify and encourage gifted and talented children.
Conditions of participation
The competition is open to students of 1 to 10 classes of secondary and secondary special educational institutions, the participants of children’s Amateur associations of cultural and leisure establishments of the Russian Federation, CIS and other Countries that have applied and submitted work on time in accordance with the regulations of the competition.
